Commercial Retail Asset Photography
Client: Burgess Rawson
Tenant: Pizza Hut
Location: Toronto, NSW
Project Type: Commercial retail photography
Usage: Sales, leasing, and portfolio marketing
Project overview
Prestige Property Photography was engaged by Burgess Rawson to photograph a standalone Pizza Hut asset in Toronto, NSW as part of a broader commercial sales campaign.
The imagery was commissioned to support online listings, campaign documentation, and future inclusion within Burgess Rawson’s national portfolio marketing.
The brief
The brief required a set of professional, campaign-ready images that would:
clearly present the tenancy and building form
communicate the asset’s position within a retail cluster
remain suitable for both listing and portfolio use
align with Burgess Rawson’s editorial and brand standards
The imagery needed to balance clarity, context, and restraint, without over-stylisation.
Site considerations
The property presented several common commercial retail challenges:
Active trading environment during the shoot
High vehicle movement and parked cars close to the building
The Pizza Hut tenancy positioned behind the primary street frontage
Adjacent national retailers forming part of the asset’s value and context
The brief required these factors to be managed carefully, ensuring the asset remained the clear visual focus while still benefiting from surrounding retail context.
The approach
The shoot was planned around dusk to balance ambient sky light with illuminated signage and interior lighting, allowing the tenancy to read clearly without overexposure.
Camera positions were selected to:
minimise vehicle obstruction
maintain clean architectural lines
include neighbouring national brands where relevant
establish context without visual clutter
Both ground-level and aerial perspectives were used to reinforce access, scale, and positioning within the broader retail environment, while maintaining a clean, editorial finish suitable for campaign and portfolio use.
Post-production & delivery
All imagery was refined with a focus on:
accurate colour and tonal balance
clean whites and neutral surfaces
controlled highlights across signage and glazing
consistent presentation across the full image set
Final assets were delivered web-ready and print-ready, aligned to Burgess Rawson’s commercial marketing requirements.
The outcome
The final image set provided:
strong hero imagery suitable for campaign use
clear, professional documentation of the asset
contextual visuals supporting the retail cluster narrative
The imagery was prepared for use across:
online listings
sales and marketing documentation
national portfolio presentation
